Our School has always operated in Acomb (York), teaching martial arts to thousands of members over 15 years. We are now located on Acomb road, on the first floor above the bathstore.

Our club is fitted with 11m by 9m matted floor, designed specifically to give our members a comfortable and safe environment to train. We also provide the best in safety equipment and training equipment to ensure that our lessons are safe for everyone involved.

New members are always welcome, but all we ask is you let us know in advance, so our instructors have time to plan and prepare for your arrival. Mini Dragons 3-6 years old


Our Mini dragon programs are specially designed to help younger children gain a solid grounding in the benefits of martial arts in a safe and responsible environment. We help our young students develop a passion for physical activity that should help keep them fit and active throughout their lifetime, as well as instilling a sense of order and discipline from a young age.

The Mini dragon program is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. Some of our basic building blocks include; Courtesy, Respect, Confidence, Honesty, Perseverance, Self-Discipline.

Ninja Kids 7-12 years old


Our ninja kids program is designed not only to give your child a safe martial arts workout but also a healthy mind works out too. Using the A, B, C of martial arts - Attitude, Behaviour and Character. This 7-12-year-old programme will give your child more confidence, discipline and the tools for success while also keeping their mind set on goals and teaching them fundamental life skills like determination, honesty, focus, goal setting etc.

Martial Arts Doncaster is the newest addition and is a newly renovated full-time gym owned by MartialArts4u.
Our schools are taught with over 10 years of martial arts knowledge behind them, starting with schools around York, Wetherby and Selby. 

Our Program teaches traditional kickboxing with a modern twist which enables students to learn quicker and progress at a higher quality while learning other martial arts like boxing, karate, thai boxing, K1 and more. However, it’s not all about the techniques and martial art moves, we also teach children key life skills like focus, respect, listening while keeping them fit and healthy

Heworth Martial Arts is located in the centre of York. We have been teaching martial arts at the community centre for over 8 years and lessons continues to grow in popularity.
Our Heworth club is a family friendly club which has lots of families who train with us. Lead instructor Mark Long oversees all lessons and is currently a member of the WAKO Great Britain team.

Musical / Extreme Forms


Musical / Extreme Forms which is a combination of tricks, flips and traditional martial arts all choreographed to music.

Tricks such as Front and Back somersaults, jump spinning kicks, cartwheels and much much more!

Thorp Arch Martial Arts is a new super centre for MartialArts4u Black Belt gyms located in Thorp Arch, Wetherby. The club is due to open in late 2019.

All skill levels are welcome as all of our lessons cover a wide range of skills and exercises aimed to push anyone, mainly consist of a warm up, technique work, working with a partner or in a group, sparring and cardio based "burn out".

Thorp Arch Martial Arts has a wide range of lessons on offer for a range of age groups.

Our Super centre is also used for our quarterly graduation events where members are presented with their next belts. It also gives everyone a chance to demonstrate their new skills.
